Got BOS now and unfortunately don’t get Track IR running there. Its simply not recognized.
Already searched the web and changed the entry within the startup.cfg: old_trackir = 1 which was set to “0” before. Didn’t help.
Made an update of game list within TIR software and BOS appears there now…didn’t help.
Made an “is software of TIR up to date” check …yes it is: quote:
The TrackIR software you are using is up to date!
The TrackIR version you are using is : 4.2.039
The most recent TrackIR version available is : 4.2.039… didn’t help.
MyTrack IR works fine with every other game I play: IL2 1946…Cliffs of Dover…just fine…
Yesterday I already made a test with Track IR 5 software.
Result: My Track IR 3 is recognized by the Natural Point driver software. Green Button is on. But…the green light of the device itself doesn’t switch on…reason: by the looks of it:
I only have a Track Hat!
No Vector Clip or Track Clip no connection to the Track IR sensor!
Lets try to be diplomatic and call this prob errr exotic, ain’t it?
Quote out of the 5.4.0 Manual:
4.2 Tracking Types
There are two types of tracking in the TrackIR software: one for use with the standard TrackClip and one for the
TrackClip PRO headset accessory. For information about how to change the “Tracking Target”, please see section 5.7.
I use the Track IR 3 Pro with the latest software and it works in BoS, or it did last time I tried it. I don’t go on it very often though - so it might not now.
In the interface on the left, above all the profile settings, there should be two buttons you can switch between Track Clip PRO and Track Hat. Make sure you have selected the track hat? I’m away so cannot see the interface myself.
Single dot tracking is no longer available. Even if you purchased the Vector Expansion, our software will no longer track only one dot. As of this moment we no longer have access to our older software either.
