Same here, I even know who I was talking to and what my comment was (unfortunatally prophetic)
I was just returning to work after a lunch break when a colleague said that he heard something on the radio news about an air crash in NY. We went back into the canteen and turned the tv on at the exact time the 2nd aircraft struck the tower. No one could beleive that we were actually watching it live…we thought it was a replay of the 1st aircraft
As you said it is something in my life that I will never forget.
