Huge WWII History Collection

I don’t remember if anyone has already posted this before, I am sorry if it has.

Those which have interest in watching tons (or just a few ;)) videos about the war, will find a treasure at stage6’s WWII History channel.
If you get confused over the tons of videos at that channel, please redirect you towards all the different video groups to the very right of the screen.

Enjoy: http://www.stage6.com/History---World-War-II

Right now I’m watching about the very interesting history of Hood and Bismarck, the battle of both their fate and the modern search to find their lost history. One of the last battle between mighty battleships…

Sailors ahoy! http://www.stage6.com/History---World-War-II/videos/group:64277

Interesting, thx for the hint!

Thanks mate! Very interesting vids

Love it!
Great hint!

Great links! Thx!

Nor for long.

Stage6 is shutting down on 28 Feb :frowning:

Dang!

And that awesome collection, spilled right into the sink…

Will take some time to recover those wounds:(

Hopefully another or pretty identical to stage6 will (soon) pop up…or we need to go back to the poor quality and low time possibilities of Youtube…:frowning:

You still have two days to save some

Seems like it has been closed down already :frowning:

edit: nope, up again

It came up briefly last night about 10pm UK time. I managed to download a bunch of them. Most new DVD players will de able to these .divx direct from a CD or DVD.

I was astonished at the amazing resource in there, and sad to see it go.

I reckon a lot of Stage6 users will be moving there. You have to install their own player for longer movies, mind you.

Sadly I did not have almost any time to download anything from stage6 due to a lot of busy stuff going on, keeping me away from the pc at the two most critical days, Wedensday and Thursday:mad:

I have some few, but they are already watched!:stuck_out_tongue:

Lets hope that new site is promisnig! Thanks for the link, Joe!

I just made it in time, ending my downloads yesterday evening…

I focused on Anglo-Italian Battles & Battlefields (N.Africa, Tunisia, Cassino),

the Mighty Eighth, and the Battle for Berlin…

Another superb Title is “Spanish Civil War #3: Battlefield for Idealists” , about International Brigades fighting against Franco & Mussolini (amongst the others, 4000 Italians, 5000 Germans, FYI)
