What a great match! RoF has some advantages, it works fine and the graphic is excellent, CoD trudges, but it has a great potential… my point is…fine, the lean years are over, after long wait, finally we can chose among some excellent flying simulators (don’t forget A10, for example).:slight_smile:

I wont be upgrading my machine for this until such time as it is a worthwhile exercise.

Since the last patch its very flyable and you would love the Hurricane Sporran. I do wonder how many people have tried since this.

I have a three year old quad and system with a half decent graphics card in the GTX570. Medium settings.

The next patch talks about a possible 50% increase in performance, hope so a its looks stunning on high. :wink:

Thanks Sporran. your question: I’d say, Yes, it had a bad start but now, is bettere, much better, and then, patch after patch it become less demanding. However, in my PC, it runs fine and max setting, since the beginning, and no matter how dense is populated the map… and, better than IL2… no more frozen screen… so far. (My PC is 2700K + NV580GTX - 8 gb Ram 1600 Mhz 2 x SSHD Corsair, 120 Gb each, + 2 WD SATA 500 Gb each)

Since the last patch its very flyable and you would love the Hurricane Sporran.

I’m quite sure you would enjoy it, Sporran. Try once, and listen to the fantastic sound, coming from the Merlin’s exhaust manifolds.

We have got 45 replies so far, enough to draft out a provisional summarization.

45 are not few, and are not all… EAF still is one of the bigger

Now, talking about Cliffs of Dover

29 out of 45 have a PC suitable for CoD

15 of them are OK with CoD and are actives
9 of them are OK with CoD, but currently they are not flying with it
3 of them have CoD, but not yet installed
2 of them do not have CoD

16 out of 45 do not have a PC suitable for CoD

1 of them has CoD, and is doing some tests right to see how it works
3 of them has CoD, installed, but not using in waiting of new PC
1 of them has COD, it installed, but not configured.
5 of them have CoD, but not installed
6 of them do not have CoD

Not few are those that has replaced IL2 with Rise of Flight, excellent simulator, great graphic, technically advanced, stable and definitely PC’s power less demanding. I personally prefear CoD, but I see RoF is a good choice for many of us.
