Help - Pilots needed now for TV Interview

Hi all,

I have a film Polish filmcrew in my home filming an interview about IL2 for HBO.

If any pilots are free to fly and let them film an IL2 and TS session, please come in HL and TS. Hope to film this from 6pm or a bit later UK time.

Thanks Classic, Flash and Starfire. I think they got some good footage, especially of Classic’s lil one talking over TS :slight_smile:

I actually thought about the lack of girls flying when driving to Ström yesterday, I tried to remember how many I could think of, but only one I could think of is that french woman, have forgotten the name at the moment. Writing this I remember that we had one that joined? or rather tagged along with her boyfriend in 51, not sure what became of her though (Bear or Wildcat know?).

Good luck on the documentary, you got to give them some applause, it looks great so far (from the Youtube video behind the scenes).

Is there any need for more pilots to be interviewed? I would be happy to join if I am needed. I presume this would have to happen over skype, TS or so.

Wel, that was entertaining. The camerman had the camera stuck right in my face when I was trying to bring in my spit with the engine shot up…lol, I had to keep leaning to the side to get out of his way :slight_smile:
Had some interesting conversations with them…although my poor wife lost out on Mothers day…she cleaned the house from top to bottom, we were about to sit down to eat when the phone went, needless to say, we didn’t eat and she went down to her Mums with the kids…so I have to make up for it next weekend!!!
