What version of DCS are you flying in, 1.5 or 2.2? In 3 weeks approx (NOT 2 weeks, be sure! :p) there should be a unified 2.5 btw. Did you buy any extra map?
1.5 at the moment. Apart from the Harrier I got the spitfire, normandy & assetpack.

NICE!!! I can understand if you hold off installing 2.2 until 2.5 is released, each installation takes up a lot of space. I ended up buying one more SSD just for DCS… :eek:
So, flying Spitfires over Caucasus tomorrow then?

Happy New Year chaps from my country home in Brittany, a bit to the west, just off the DCS Normandy map.
2018 is starting quite good :
I have installed the updates for DCS 1,5 and 2 and have just downloaded the Spitfire Epsom campaign
I also downloaded CloD BLITZ and tried it out briefly : first takes are that the engine sound is more meatier, but I find that there is a sound lag when you open the throttle - the idle sound persists until you open up to around 25%, which I find disconcerting. I will have to re-set the screen overlay with my old settings. They say they have taken the bumps out of the airfields but I found the Spitfire wobbling a lot left and right during fast taxying at Hawkinge.
Managed a quick flight with Apollo & Ribbon on Finnish yesterday afternoon and got an amazing deflection shot (on a friendly by mistake). He flew across my line of sight and I only saw him after I had pressed the trigger. I got warned and apologized, but he got banned from the server, so I guess he was pretty pissed off and used some foul language in Russian, which I fortunately could not translate.
It’s taken me hours to download all this stuff on my slow country internet connection, but I am happy to be back in the cockpit after two months absence.
