For reinstalling my Joystick i looked through my cd’s and found my old 1998 released Grand Prix Legends. Somehoq i just felt in the mood to drive it again and tried to install it. But it didn’t work. Searched the internet for some help and found an installer which get the setup right for WinXP and adds nice improvements for the game. Wow, it really looks amazing now!! And its great to play it again. It is really hard to manage to drive these old beasts and abit frustrating from time to time but giving it some training this game just rocks. There are so many nice mods out there for new sounds carsets and tracks to drive. Right now I am driving the 1965 Mod which has not that powerful cars and seems good for beginners like me.
In the year 2004 the mod-community released a nice demo which can be downloaded HERE.
Actually its nearly the full game but the other tracks are missing. So if you can’t find a copy of the original GPL you can download usermade tracks (for example here)and add them to the demo, so you can drive more than just the US-Grandprix.
