I truly fucking hate people…I try and play any game as it was designed to be played, but others have to game the fucking game…I play hockey online , folks glitch goal to score, I play tanks games online, folk spawn camp tae fuck, I try and play simulations online and folks use a fucking unrealistic mega zoom mode to see where to shoot and to spot targets…I WISH THEY WOULD ALL FUCK OFF!!!
I’m convinced that’s why the fucking Taliban and IS hate us, they have played online and had tae listen tae fucking shite talk and fucking erses that canny play tae fucking save themselves…and so they have decided to end the west!

People gaming the game is frustrating. Don’t let them get to you. Just play the way you want and get the immersion you deserve. If you guys get airborne fast and en masse you will no doubt trip up Karaya and his posse. They don’t seem to fight in a coordinated fashion. Seemed to me that Karaya was on his own. Didn’t see a wingman anywhere?
But the RAF were flying in “Rotte” and two " Schwarme" , so that’s nice to see. Not that it helped that Hurricane from getting it up the arse, lol.
Haha I just loved this rant when I seen and discussed it yesterday.
Even though I don’t really agree with zoom part or the game part. I know we all like to think how sims are something more then a game, but they really are not. There might be simulators that are not games, but none that I ever seen fall into combat sims category.
So gamey parts like zooms, use of teamspeak, flying 300m from the ground with bombers because it’s easier to land a bomb (I’d love to see anyone do that in real war when his arse is on the line), starting engine on single button, etc… They will always be there, just don’t use them if they bother you. But sorry to say this again, all combat sims I have ever played are just games in they core even if some simulation aspects are well done, they are far from realism. Limited by technology and attempt to make them fun to play (and they are fun to play for me).
If there is fully realistic combat sim that require everything in preparation and flight that real combat pilots did in WW2, I’d simply skip it. I would not have the time or the will to play those as probably they would be boring flight with no contacts 70% of the time.
I can understand your feeling, but i think you are overreacting…
the unrealistic mega zoom / FOV is there from il2 and is present in CLOD, DCS, and BOS…
i don’t understand how mapping and using a key created by game developers is gaming the game…
