Having started using Netflix recently I have watched the Sci-Fi series Firefly. What a great show it was. Good story and great characters. Well worth watching and a shame it only lasted 14 episodes.
Hungry for more Sci-Fi action I began watching Andromeda. What a PoS! Yet it gets 5 seasons and 100+ episodes.

I use Netflix myself, it’s pretty good.
But to get the most out of it you need to use the American version.
I dislike the UK version. First because of the unwanted facebook bollox on it. Secondly because it has half the content of the US version.
I use a service called Unblock US for my DNS, it costs £3 a month. But it fools Netflix into thinking I’m US based an gives me the US version. No intrusive Facebook and twice the content.
Unblock US also works in the opposite direction and gives the US access to iPlayer. 
I saw Firefly some times ago: very good!
There is also a long movie, also good.
Yesterday evening I saw last opera of Ridley Scott, Prometeus. Huge colossal film, but the questions you got unfortunately are more than the answers

Yes the new series of BSG was great.
Haven’t seen Prometheus yet but looking forward to it.
