Flying with Apollo - Finding a solution.

To all the fine vpilots of the EAF

Having spoken with Apollo recently, and considering the time gap between Europe and The Far East (Hong Kong), I want to ask:

[li]Who is available during the weekends at anytime between 13.00BST-17.00BST to fly. This will be a flexible arrangement and subject to consensus.[/li][li]Lets say Saturday or Sunday.[/li][li]This will not be every weekend. Lets say every other weekend.[/li][li]This will also be subject to Apollos availability[/li][li]Lets say this will not be Sim’ specific, so IL2 1946, Cliffs of Dover, War Thunder (pah!)[/li][/ul]

I simply want to find out if we can put together a pool of people from which we can form a group of 6-8 people on a bi-weekly basis to fly with Apollo and myself for 2-3 hours in the daytime on the weekend.

I will offer to put together some interesting missions based on the groups requests etc.

Sounds like a plan.

I should be able to make some of those weekends but not sure how regularly.

As I agree with Baz, this is an excellent idea. I should be able to attend most weekends, not sure how regularly but as long as its announced I should be able to invest the time! To invest time with Apollo isn’t a difficult choice. :wink:

Won’t be able to fly this weekend. Flying to the Philippines tomorrow for a few days in the sun? Or will we be hit by that darn typhoon?

i think also Walty flies sometime in this timeframe!

It’s not perfect for me, but i will try to participate at least once a month!

PS Apollo you should do like Gin! A powerful laptop and a suitcase with joy and trackir, to use when you fly to a more compatible timezone :wink:

it will be difficult for me to fly, but I will at least get in TS and chat a bit with Erik.

Thank you gentlemen for espousing this idea and special thanks to you Apollo for your kind words.
I will continue to update this thread with the names of those who can contribute until we have a large enough group to guarantee a game on any given date.

Whilst we have some time before the first session please mention this thread, so that others can give some suggestion as to their availability then we can begin to agree on some times and dates.

Good initiative! I can not promise any set times but I will try to join up whenever I can. I kind of miss being shot down by Apollo…

Warthunder is the flight communities biggest secret.

Its an ultra realistic flying experience that only the very best pilots… I think I’ve said too much.:wink:
