hopefully both of us. I’ll be taking the credit card with me…I like the idea of getting a bus and Red’s Beer tent. However I will have a 6 year old swoop jnr with me so I’ll be sticking to a couple.

I’ve booked the hotel now.9th to 11th. So what day are we going to the airshow? 9th or 10th? I’d prefer the 10th.
I assume that one day is enough, but if I have assumed incorrectly, please let me know.

When do you arrive on the 9th Apollo? I guess at the evening, so you won’t attend the first air show day, but the last on Saturday 10th? After that day, we should meet up and have a drink.

I’m staying 8-11 July, so will attend both air show days.

I’m at Fenners Hotel / Bed & Breakfast.

Where are you staying Apollo, perhaps you are close enough to join me and others on a pub in Cambridge. :cool:

Maybe we will go far, maybe we will just stay in one place, I don’t know and will hear if there is any plan with my Norwegian friends.

It will likely be a relaxing evening with a few drinks in a known pub they usually stay in (they go every year). We are going early up the next morning to watch the next air show and won’t be going too crazy.

The pub (also known as the RAF bar) that is a must see in Cambridge is The Eagle. It’s the hallowed watering hole of Duxfords many followers.

What camp site have you booked into Red?

I’m off that weekend but must be back home on Sunday a.m as I have a hft shoot to attend. I was thinking of popping up on Friday night and going to the show on Saturday but then I’ll have to head off back home at the end of the show.

Hello chaps, this looks like too good a trip to miss! Not been flying for a while but would sure be good to meet up with you all again at Flying Legends.

Still got to work out who’s coming, maybe the missus will enjoy a trip to Cambridge as well, or even my kids. And not sure whether B&B or camping (where’s the campsite, Red?).

Just sure it will be a great time.
