I have been reading several books about FAC’s (Forward Air Controllers) in Vietnam, and writing on window seems have been the norm. It keeps their head up, help them focus on their location in relation to the ground.

AAA - 25%
SAM - 50%
Ground - 100%

I do the same at work…I don’t have a noticeboard, so I have chinagraph pencils and write on the windows!
