if it’s a quality server to fly in like a Seow campaign 3€/month is not too bad…
to keep up a server they need to pay the PC, the ultra broadband internet connection, the TS server, the programming for stats etc…
If you feel donate some bucks to SOW and ATAG also! They provided big fun for the last year!
PS loved flying DCS in last days, but don’t think we’ll find good servers to fly campaigns there anytime soon…
Exactly Jimmi, a proper seow type campaign with a modern flight sim…are there any? It’s the ground war aspect that makes its more interesting and tense in many occasions and at least with BOS and BOM you have bombers.
One day DCS but that is years off. Plus if we get a tf patch…
I buy DCS stuff when they have sales, but the whole thing strikes me as a dog’s breakfast - there seems no overall plan, absolutely no idea of time-frame and massive holes around the few finished platforms which means it is good only for either the modern era, Black-Sea stuff (which is a great Sim but not one on which I have spent much time) or just endless DF’ing a few aircraft.
I voted to pay for a BOS / BoM online war, if only to move to conversation on to ‘how’.

Survey is finished. In the near next day’s developers team write here detail about this project. Total rus + eng 427 vote yes. I think it’s enough for begin work.

I miss SEOW days so much. I need a dynamic campaign that saves our progress and is influenced by our actions. And BOS/BOM has a working mix of fighters and attackers.
DCS won’t be in a working dynamic campaign situation with WWII ground attack for a long time. Not enough attacker aircraft and they are not even focusing on it.
TF patch is too far ahead in the future, we need something in the present.
At least we have Italy SEOW for September into early October. But after that, we need a replacement.
So what does people think about investing into this online war right from the start, or begin after SEOW is over? There will be plenty of days in between SEOW missions to fly on this server though!
I’ll jump in Stunts, especially on a Monday and keeping Cliffs and SOW going on a Thursday, especially as we are about to start that “campaign/war”. There is still a way to go before we see the finished SOW article so stick with it.
Yes, it will be interesting to see what SoW will become when the new campaign start. SoW should still hold Thursdays, but any other day is open for posting on the forum and join together for BOS/BOM on the 24/7 war server.
SEOW days still has to be decided. But until that time, we could use Mondays from now on as a regular BOS day. Non-winter maps are coming soon and I can’t wait for them.

I’ll make a poll to vote what day should be BOS day, to get at least some faint idea when people can or cannot fly.
Good idea I might be able to swap days around. Not sure how many people have BOS and/or want to fly it. I definitely think there will be a group flying cod on a Monday anyway.
