Ecco, per i trainee in particolare, ma valido per tutti…
Che le facciate a mente (rischioso!), che le abbiate stampate o nella kneeboard dell’aereo:
LE CHECKLIST VANNO SEGUITE! Tutte, ditevele a voce alta, ogni step e datevi la conferma: “checked!” (altrimenti finirete per seguirle passivamente e perderanno il loro scopo).
Vedrete che non vi troverete più nelle classiche situazioni tipo:
- “Ehi! Hai il carrello giù!”
- “Ho bruciato il motore, mi sono dimenticato i radiatori”
- “Perché diavolo va tutto a destr… Porc ho spaccato l’aereo in decollo!” (vi siete dimenticate il trim del rudder)
Eccetera eccetera.

You can do them by memory (risky), you can print them or you can use the in-game kneeboard, but…
CHECKLISTS MUST BE FOLLOWED! Always, call items out loud with your voice and confirm them with “checked!” answer (or you’re going to do them passively after a while, and they’ll lose their meaning).
You’ll see you won’t find yourselves in typical situations like:
- “Ehy! You’ve gear down still!”
- “Engine failure, forgot to open radiators!”
- “What the hell, she’s drifting all to the r… Shit, I crashed my plane during takeoff!” (you forgot rudder trim setup)
Eccetera eccetera…
