Interesting, I’m starting to feel ready to install DCS World and A-10 again, perhaps I ought to get me some more modules to vorry about not flying. :roflmao:
I went ahead and bought P-51, FC3 and the F-86.
I also found my license key for A-10C, so I added that as well. With the new DCS World installation/managing of the additions have so far been really smooth.
And on top of everything I also stumbled upon the code for installing Take on helicopters on Steam while looking for the code for A-10C, so now that is also installed.
So far I’ve flown the P-51 and the F-86 a bit, and I really like it. Haven’t tried any hard stuff like trying to take off etc yet.
I think I will do quite a bit more offline flying, and perhaps online if anyone else want to have a go, time permitting.
Sometimes I miss the days when I worked at the university and didn’t have to get up so early and still was home about the same time as I am now…
This weekend the 22th and 23th of november there’s a surprise deal in the E-shop of DCS with 70% off. However it doesn’t work together when you’ve bought you gear at Steam
This irritates me too Pax. I have a Steam install since the stand alone stopped working for me:mad:. Keep checking Steam sometimes they will offer a sale after the DCS sale.
Doesn’t the license manager work from within DCS World when it fires up?? Your keys are assigned to your account when DCS world fires up and you can move the keys around different accounts there.
Thx Pax. I don’t use Steam, but was interested. I just found this on SIMHQ though, which says the reverse does work, so you can download DCS world direct from ED and use your steam keys.
Maybe time to give the standalone another whirl Os??
Another DCS 70% Off just in time for Christmas! WOW! A-10 C $11.99!! :w00t:
