Preface:

1944 Caucasus has been invaded by overwhelming German forces. [FICTIONAL CAMPAIGN]
Germans have landed and advanced fast.
Advance was stopped just at the foot of Caucasus mountains.
Now germans are trying to cross the mountains.

Situation is confuesed.
Chain of command is broken, We have broken troops retreating and efficient troops trying to reach the frontline. Comms between land and air forces are scarce.

51 Stormo arrived 2 days ago.
Some tank convoys were spotted and attacked inside the narrow valleys in the mountains south of Batumi Airfileds (were we are stationed).
41 stormo reinforcements are expected to join the battle today.

Allied were able to position 2 radar.

Operative airfield and radio frequencies…

Reposted on the WhatsApp groups and Facebook. Hopefully we’ll get some numbers on. Is it all Spitfires? That may be a limit for one or two, that only have the P-51D (and the TF-51!)

Would it be worth letting the SoW guys know as well? Then we may well start to see some numbers boosts for testing before we get to transition it to the Normandy Map with WW2 assets.

I can’t put it on the 79 Website while I’m at work, but I don’t know that I want to put it on there yet and invite everyone in if we don’t know about the server being able to take the numbers.

We have Spits, P51 and Tf51 (with recon script enabled!)

I’ve sent a link to Phil
it’s on the open forum for all to see!
All interested pilot can ask for info.

our server still missing the ram (on it’s way)
So tonight mission will be hosted by Cirso and not on a dedicated server.
i would say up to 10-14 players lag free then who knows…
We can have more pilots when we’ll transition to the dedicated server!
(and may be 2 generals moving troops and human opposition)

So how does the TF-51 work? Do they find targets and have them show up on the F-10 map? Or do they have to land and information is recovered that way?

Well actually ther’s a script activared trough comms menu that let the TF51 take 10 secs photos while flying over enemy units!
The script will report on screen unit types ans numbers!
Ideally tf51 pilot should take a screenshot and report it in the debriefing for tactical commander to evaluate it!
But can also rely the info realtime to direct human CAS pilots!
More wile flying over enemy units they should appear real time over the tactical commander map! (That’s true for any of our planes!)

Tac commander will see real time all the enemy units in line of sight of our troops and planes detected by radar!
Yesterday while cheking the radar scripts we saw contacts appearing and disappearing as they flew behind caucasus mountains!

I’d just like to say I’d love to be able to do this in a Harrier!

When’s the next try out for this? Is it tonight? I should be on from 20:00. Happy to fly a P-51 or TF-51.
