Myself and Red have been flying the Harrier and we’ve about got the hang of start-up, taking off, landing and, as of last night, basic CCIP bombing and rocket attacks! It’s a really good module, quite a challenge. Not all of the systems have been implemented yet, but it seems to be in a very good state. I am planning to review it on the 79 Squadron site; so I’ll go into some more detail there.
I’m looking forward to being able to lase targets and conduct some precision strikes with EAF on a server somewhere. I’d like to have a go at air to air refueling, but I have no idea how! Would be good if people could look at DCS again, once the merged version (2.5) has been released.
Im ready whenever you are OD. To me this is one of the most interesting modules since the A-10c.
Have to agree with you both, a superb model by Razbam, A lot quicker to learn than the A10, and you can loiter more easily to acquire targets, must admit it’s a frame rate dropper when you fire 30 rockets all at once (you can fire even more)
As for the cockpit the detail is superb and the interior lighting is stunning, and a great aircraft to fly.
As OD say’s the hover is not to bad, but make a mistake and you pay for it, managed to land on a carrier doing 15 knots, it wasn’t pretty, but as the saying goes any landing you can walk away from is a good one.
Looking forward to flying her more
Also this is the first module I’ve bought from DCS since the Spit, and I’m not disappointed

I do think I have to get that one!
Think you will definitely like it Mram, although there’s more to it than two magnito’s and a fuel lever, must admit it is one of the most popular modules for DCS, check out the forumhttps://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=555
A lot of info and tutorials on utube, plus you get the bonus of both me and OD can talk you through most things, it will be a steep learning curve but it has its rewards
Stevie
What Red said…it is superb and we’re learning most of the systems the hard way so you don’t have to! :roflmao:
Thx! Will try and look into it during christmas holidays if time permits together with the new stick.
Bearing in mind its still at the beta stage, but will be a lot better when 1.5 is incorporated into 2.2 which I think will be in the very near future, (two weeks lol), this should include the Caucasus map for free, but you will need to buy the Normandy map if you want it, looking at the utube vids of 2.2 it looks stunning

Harrier in Normandy is great. Harrier in NTTR is tough as it doesn’t have the same level of thrust for VTOL because of altitude and temperature! I’ve struggled to get it to hover, and found it has to have the water injection turned on - which is the first time that I have used it. I can now fire off all 4 Mavericks in one pass though, so I am happy camper.
