I haven’t thought about it, just trying to survive. I was very, very close on my last mission, must have been the 50th, on Thursday. I had a gut feeling to look behind during a dive, and I saw a 109 50 yards behind me about to line up! Hard pull on the stick and back home for change of pants!
Well done mate, not easy as so many things can go wrong. Getting a gut feeling is a sign of experience that I’m sure real veterans had.
