Does Gamefly do auto Updates to games like Steam?
You may find it will install into Steam anyway, even though it’s a game fly download. Steam keeps it current to released patches, so you’ll need to install the beta. See the response I posted to Red in the CoD forum.
I agree with Keets.
I’m presuming you’ll have to install it to steam and validate it there too.
I think once you have the beta patch installed and graphics set to playable levels you’ll be surprised how playable it has turned out.
The real irony is that the game is now at a stage where it is fit for release and is now relegated to the bargin bin.
If it was at this stage before release it would have done a lot better than it did.
It is very good, the landscape is washed out but love the flight models and the Cockpit:), now if I could only get rid of the Micro stutters.
To get rid of the micro stutters, load the beta patch. Then go into the vid options and set everything to max/unlimited apart from trees - set that to low.
Sounds daft, but the stutters are caused by things loading with reduced draw distance. The game loads stuff when you can see it. If you max it out, then things load earlier (before you see it) so no stutters.
