Much better. It can run away for one thing. It can also dodge stuff. Then it has HARM as well as Mavericks. A-10 can’t really do any of that. After you’re done you’re top cover!

Hunter-Killers, baby! Weaseling is a 2-man job and am happy to offer an F-5 for the kinetic element.
YGBSM etc.
Mirage may be a better option in that respect, you’ll find the F-5 may be a bit slow!
Closer to the F-100Fs and it has the necessary RWR kit as well as being possibly a better Harrier escort down low. We’ll see how it copes.
You wouldn’t find me doing that in an F-5! Limited countermeasures too. Mirage is definitely more nimble and responsive (with an RWR) and it lets you know when IR missiles are launched too (Handy for the Strellas)
