Bollocks!

Got shot up pretty badly last night and dove towards English point, thought I was over it and bailed only to land in the sea about 100yds from the shore and was classed as drowned:mad:

I swear I was that close to the shore I seen a bird topless strolling along the beach:cool:

So the moral of the story is wait till you see her tits before bailing:banana:

Stevie

That…sucks salt!

Hahaha…the exact same went for me too yesterday. I’ve started now with my 11th life.

Starting next monday: Swimming lessons!
This will supplement the course “First aid, patching up yourself and how to recognize that you are badly hurt and will need immediate medical intention within 5 minutes to stop you from bleeding to death” that we will run thursday night…

New rule of thumb, if you see RED (not Red :D), you turn home ASAP.

The thing is, I didn’t see any red what so ever until those final 30 seconds, and that was a loooong time after the fight had ended. Usually, if I have been injured I have started seeing red right away, and most of the time, it takes quite a long time before it gets bad.

Yes it sounded incredibly weird. You could ask the admin to check out your sortie, maybe he finds a bug that TF left behind with their custom bleeding feature.

I’m finding there’s sort of a curve of fearlessness on your virtual life in SoW.

At the beginning - you don’t want to take too many chances (new plane and all that). Then with a few kills/sorties under your belt, you start getting more cocky, taking risks and thinking you are invincible, before returning to a more cautionary approach (where bad luck (in my case plane flips on landing, explodes) can still ruin your day…
