I am having a bit of fun in IL2: BoS at the moment but want to start flying it with full realism.
Does anyone have, or no of, a resource for start-up and shut down checklists for the aircraft contained within? My favourite is the Yak-1 but it would be good to have them all handy.
I have been a bit lazy on searching but am a bit strapped for time at the moment.
Would be good to link up with some of you for a flight too at some point. I am probably showing as {RoC}JamWheel on steam at the moment for those who have added me or wish to.

Check out Chucks excellent aircraft guides and tutorials from the main il2 website.
It’s got details about the cockpits, startup procedures, climb settings etc. I’m starting to look at the axis aircraft as a change.

I’ve been reading the forums with some dismay about the dev team disconnecting with the community somewhat and forcing limited gfx options and heading firmly in the direction of what seems more like a console release with XP based unlocks and things. Hoping they get over this and manage to come up with something with longevity like the IL-2 Sturmovik series was and true player selection.
Glad they have disconnected from Ubi entirely though, who I blame for CoD being rushed out and subsequently dropped entirely - it is appalling they abandoned it in the state it was and that a community had to recover this to a playable position. What a shame 
I was rather hoping for clickable cockpits like CoD and the possibility for more complete start-up sequences so you can lean towards the sim side if you wish. That said, BoS seems pretty challenging and nice enough looking, just not in the detail I was hoping for.
Hi James, have you been flying CoD much? Quite a few of us are getting into this and have now got involved in an online war with the Spanish on Wednesday nights, old rivals ;).
Its been setting the scene nicely for BoS and getting us use to the uprated FM & DM and now its out more of us might get it. I love a Spitfire much like you so CoD is pulling the heart strings right now.
I’ll add you on steam and you’re welcome to join us on our Monday and Thursday sorties on ATAG etc. Like I said I’m sure some of us are ready for an outing in Bos to. Saying that Il2 is still going strong in here, especially with SEOW campaigns.
