B25 Training Video finished!

This thread started as a serious training tool by Joe, I hope it isn’t going to get increasingly silly…

did you fly out the other side ok too? u git

No, I got through under the bridge OK, but I couldn’t recover the aircraft from that position. The drag from the undercarriage pushes the aircraft down even with the stick full forward. Having said that, no doubt someone will prove me wrong.

Oh, and of course, so far we have all been doing things the easy way by using both engines … :stuck_out_tongue:

Yer, and I think you should at least try it once in a TB3

The problem with the TB3 is finding a bridge high enough to let you get both the tail and the undercarriage through. Fortunately, the response on the controls in the TB3 is so slow that you don’t actually notice the difference with the tail missing, it still handles like a Volvo full of bricks.

I don’t see any way you can get the TB3 through inverted. It loses height too rapidly. The best you could hope for would be to time it to perfection and pass under the bridge just before crashing.

oh my god …what did i start lol :w00t:

some peoples children

hehe

Nice one Joe, I’m not too late to say that am I?.

Hmmm, 602 were mud-movers, at least before they moved onto fighters, and then again in the latter part of the war.

Thx for movie Joe, very good.

Just downloaded your video Joe. It is great! :w00t:

And I can understand what you say also

Thanks Henkie, and everybody else.

I originally got the idea of a commentated training video after watching Dart’s video’s.

Dart has picked up my own video and is now hosting the file on his server and will hopefully be adding it to his list of training videos.

If you haven’t watched any of his instructional (or fun) videos, then I would highly recommend them at http://www.darts-page.com/

(PS, another thought I had for a training movie is to show how the hell you kept pulling those scissors last night and going from my 12 to my 6 - any good tracks on that one?)

Sweet

This video is going to be included on ‘Forgotten Battles: Aces Campaigns’ CD.
