Summer and Autumn Maps and Campaign in testing.
I just love the flight model, it’s more challenging than COD for me and feel more like it when landing especially.

Looking forward to the autumn map especially, always have had a soft spot for the orange world.
Oddly, I’m really enjoying the snow!! reminds me of the empire strike back and zooming along in my Awing. I really like the sense of speed low down and started ground attacking with the rockets on the Lagg. This is fairly deadly enterprize with real trees again (compared to cliffs), and the mobile AA is really accurate. This sim has some lovely touches, like the artillery going off as you fly over Stalingrad. I’m really tempted to start on the single player campaign to see how it works out.
I’m slowly putting my key mappings together and going more fulll real. Right now going through the take off and landings in the Lagg but I keep spinning her then I apply the brake when landing?? Do I need to lock the tail wheel before landing?
General rule of thumb for any tail dragger is locked tail wheel at landing. Don’t want to veer off into a tree.
I’m oddly tempted by your description of flying BOS Swoop. I really don’t miss the snow one bit, and still?
But if I get it, my girlfriend might take over the computer completely.
You Swedes don’t get enough snow so your girlfriend wants to watch even more snow?
I’m afraid she might get homesick from seeing Stalingrad in the snow (she’s from Russia and passes Stalingrad/Volgograd on her way home from Moscow, eh, when going from Moscow to her birth town that is, not wneh going home to Umeå), and her grandfather died on the Volgograf front IIRC. On top of that she watched movies about pilots in the great patriotic war during her childhood.
We’ll get the non-winter maps just in time for winter

I found keeping some power on so that they rudder retained effectiveness was the best way - bit like in the RoF aircraft - but the LaGG does like to ground-loop…
Well, now that I’m home, the sale is over, so not this time for me! :roflmao:
Bugger!!
Njeeet!
On a lighter note, that was interesting to know Mikke. Just remember to buy it on discount next time, or there will be two sad pilots on your PC.
