If anyone enjoys flying offline campaigns, the first part of ‘Desert Air Force’ is up here: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1895
It follows number 80 squadron in Cyrenaica and Greece during 1940-41. The second part is almost ready for posting, hopefully another week to ten days and it’ll be finished. That will cover 112 Squadron from Operatio Crusader to Lightfoot/Supercharge flying P40s. Unfortunately these are all based on the original desert map but part 3 will use the new one for a change.
Great Historical Campaign, Guizzo!!!
Many compliments for the complete planeset & accuracy…
Thankyou very much Monsterr. Each mission is based as closely as I could on the book within the limitations of the game (which is pretty limiting).
Thanks Whizz, cant wait to start it up.
S!
why we dont fly this campain online? as west germany?
I’ve never built an online campaign before Wildcat, I suppose it could be altered easily enough for single Coop missions but I dont know how online scripted missions follow on from each other to create a campaign. If anyone wanted to have a bash at converting it I’d be tickled.
There’s an Italian RA campaign on the same page with, I think about 46-48 missions. I would like to know what any Italian flyer’s think of it, bearing in mind it’s written from the point of view of one of Mussolini’s men.
You still after those skins Whizz?
You bet I am Brig, I’ve been building part 3 for the 92 squadron spits. I’ve used the 4 skins that you have available just now plus a Neville Duke skin I found on the net, but if you want to do some more that would be great. Is it desert MkVcs and temperate MkVIIIs? Wouldn’t mind a W (for my personal vanity).
Wish I could have had more skin packs for the earlier parts of the campaigns, Kittys, Glads and Hurris.
I’ll get a set of QJ A-L in both marks to you.
Probably over the weekend
Thanks Brig, still struggling with the history of that period a bit but I think Im getting the hang of it now. Had to scrub the first 10 missions and start again because of bad information. I’m relying mainly on Marshall Cavendish History of the 2nd World War volume 3 now for dates and places. Looking forward to those skins:)
Here you go Whizz

Thanks very much Brigstock. Those will go a long way towards making the campaign special. Beautiful skins.
