A surfeit of gaming goodness!

I’ve got so many great games to play lately I find myself almost overwhelmed trying to decide what to do. I need to find a coping strategy or I’m in danger of achieving nothing with my spare time!

I have the following to choose from:

Rise of Flight, Cliffs of Dover, IL246, DCS A10, Assassins Creed 1 and 2, Shogun 2 TW, Napoleon TW, ARMA2CO, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Mafia 2 and a few others I can’t remember but are installed ready for when I feel the urge for something different.

I’m trying to hold off getting Skyrim and Deus Ex:HR but my resistance is crumbling after watching my son play them.

The Steam sales over Christmas were a real nightmare to avoid spending money but some great bargains were had.

It’s bizarre but I’m finding I need to add some discipline to my gaming to make the most of things. For example, I’m currently forcing myself through Assassins Creed 1 before I start AC2. Or should I do Mass Effect 1 first. Then I have to get my fix of flying. RoF’s St Mihiel campaign is great but I’v got a well developed career to think about as well. CoD keeps drawing me back as I see videos of some of the action and think about indulging myself in some Spit/Hurri fun. A10? Can just about start her up but need to spend more time learning to get off the ground!

Am I a gaming addict? Help me please. Anybody!!

Hi, my name is Whiskey and I’m a gameaholic.

WB.

Lol I’m in the same boat. I did get Skyrim in the Steam sale and i couldnt leave Train Sim 2012 alone at £2.99.

Then there’s consoles, I’ve still got Red Dead redemption to finish on the PS3 as well.

Gaming goodness everywhere is a good thing though I think. It keeps you fresh.

What, you don’t have MW3 or BF3 in that list. Get them NOW

Woo Woo chugga chugga… Tickets please

Mate, you are going to need to put some weight on to become the “Fat Controller:smiley:

Note:
The Politically Correct brigade say you can’t say “Fat Controller” anymore.

Well that will certainly stuff the Thomas the Tank engine books in sales.

I did note that on Steam the other day. I didn’t want to mention it as I thought it would be our little secret but now that you’ve outed yourself WHAT THE FECK DO THINK YOU’RE DOING. A TRAIN SIMULATOR? ARE YOU COMPLETELY BONKERS?! I will have to seriously consider our friendship based on this bombshell. Anyway, can’t stop to chat about it my new knitting pattern just arrived.

Have done MW2 and CoD:Black Ops (and numerous other CoD types over the years) but they don’t do much for me - too much ‘on rails’. I dare say I’ll get them when they’re on budget though.

Hi, my name is Whiskey and I’m a gameaholic.

Hello Whisky, welcome… My wife tells me not to put another Game on the Credit Card…Then along comes another Steam Sale.

I’m enjoying an offline relationship with my old friend the IL2 FMB at the moment. That’s all I have time for. I’ve been looking at the RoF demo but either I can’t run it or I haven’t been able to set it up properly. When the scenery for Southern Scotland becomes available in a few weeks time for FSX I’ll definitely be grabbing it and flying over familiar territory.

Other than that I’ve got a huge ginormous train set to play with that covers the whole of Glasgow’s south side. In fact I’d better get back to it right now.
