4.10

4.10 patch released.
Go to 1C forum for links.

And Merry Christmas to all EAF !

I am uploading to our server right now, to 331 folder

Edit: Done!

Good work Hans!
I might move it to patches directory later (and clean up a bit in there as well), but not right now.

Warning:
Don´t install over the modded version. I just did that, and after that the game is not starting. (No worries, I have backups)

It might be that this patch is to be installed over a clean 4.09, I don’t know. So, be very careful!

Edit: I forgot to deactivate the mods in JGSME, will do another try later on.

I got the patch to work in this way:

In JGSME:

  1. disable all eventual mods
  2. activate 4.09b stock

Then install the 4.10 patch

I will not do it on my game computer until the situation is clear on the game servers though.

4.10 revenge of fallen :roflmao:

Im updating via the updater to JSGME that auto deactivates whatever you got activated, its already got 4.10 on it.

Can’t wait to give it a go.

Don´t install over the modded version. … It might be that this patch is to be installed over a clean 4.09

Install it on a separate clean copy, otherwise I believe you can’t use anymore mods.

I installed 4.10 straight from the UP Updater as Meako said (all mods disabled in JSGME)
Ive flown a few coops online today and havent discovered any glitches as of yet…but it does feel different in general
Plus with the UP201 JSGME mod switcher you can revert back to 409 if necessary which relieves the need for multiple installs

Good Luck Chaps

Regards

Charlie

Yes, the UP Updater is definately the best way to go!

OK - just to confirm… (running v v short on HD space here for yet more installs)

Deselect all mods
Run JGSME updater?
D/l 4.10 patch
Install patch

And then JGSME should have options of:

4.09b vanilla
4.09 Mods
And now 4.10

Is this right?

NB: Anyone on tonight for some flying fun?

Redundant, I just did the UP2.01 update/restore that’s all.

Then you will find a new option in JSGME, 00_stock_4.10m

Nepe: I did the same, but I still have only 4.09
Any suggestion?

4.10 stand-alone operative  , UP updatet

I found the answer: when the updater is asking what version you want to update you should select Option 1.
Downloaded everything amd now I have stock 4.11 too

Thanks Bear!

That seems to be working for me too mate <sends virtual cold beer to Bear>

I ran this like you said, the first time it did not work- but the second time I ran the updater and hit Option 1 like you said, it seems to be downloading everything now

Crossing fingers
