We have introduced more long service medals now that EAF has been around for so long. The old Order of the British Empire medal for 5 years service has been expanded to it’s proper names and levels which we will now use for 5, 10 and 15 years service:
Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) - For 15 years of duty in the EAF Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) - For 10 years of duty in the EAF Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) -For 5 years of duty in the EAF
I am very pleased to be able to award this to a pilot of 602 who joined EAF way back in 2001. Well done Hiawatha for earning the Officer of the British Empire!
what can I say? You have been there supporting the EAF in all the important matters, never hiding with the problems, always defending the spirit of the EAF.
