Tried to join UK3 server yesterday but got message that I needed Ultrapack with MDS 1.11.
What I had done previously was to install UP2.0 into a clean 4.09 folder. Then I installed the update for Ultrapack, "UP 2.0m Bug-Fix Patch for UP 2.0 UPDATED With MDS V 1.12! " That to went straight into the game folder. In the JSGME switcher I have a whole list of items, among them MDS 1.12. But I can not find MDS 1.11.
I did use the correct .exe to connect to HyperLobby. So what have I done wrong?
You did do it all correctly.
Smurphy (admin) said that he would install 1.12 later last night after it goes quiet.
1.12 over rights 1.11 and removes it so there should be no probs (as long as you removed all mods from the JSMGE before install)
edit, just looked on BFs and 1.12 is activated now

after 2.0 release a small 10Mb fix patch containing MDS 1.11 has been released
now the fix patch has been updatedwith MDS 1.12
