Nice find
I remember seeing this a while ago, looks good but it has a huge price tag:(
There is only one program we use, when teaching signals to new commanders or even formations we use ArmA.
I made a mission a while ago where the tank commander calls artillery on a target. ArmA is so modable u can do anything with it.
If this ever came down in price though i would get it:D…Just to show Trooper u can have more fun than jumping out of a perfectly good airplane;)
There is no use of simulation for training tank-crews?
When I was trained to drive a tank, I think we were sitting 3/4 of the time in simulator. Same for the gunners etc.
Simulators are much more cheaper than driving the real thing, and german army has not much money l:D
expecially fuel
Yep, we called our Leo the “4Liter-Car”.
We trained with a tank hull with a cab on, u can put a instructor and 4 students in the top so u can chamge around easier:)
Yep, hehehe, These ugly beasts
and its so uncomfortable sitting up there when driver is really pushing in rough terrain lol
Anyone heard about Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942? It is a WWII Tank simualtor on the East front during the second Kharkov Offensive.
It is made by a low-budget company so the game is a little rare, plus it doesn’t have multiplayer, BUT the extremely satisfying single player, realism and simulation of the lovely T34, the mighty Pz IV and the rugged and trusty Matilda, makes the game experience a whole new level.
It is really recommended for those who want fierce tank and infantry battles without the arcade hit point system!
BTW: These “tank training platforms” looks really comfortable!
At that price it should be called Gold Beasts
Try T34 v Tiger, WW2 battle tanks…you can get it cheap and when modded is great fun online…t34/85 v Tiger 1 e Late. You can still pick it up really cheap, although the company that supplied it has went bust. Forums are here http://www.t34vtiger.com
