Unsure which I prefer (I blame Classic, he asked me to do the Dutch Spit)
(BTW Classic, updated the Dutch Spit so will send to you tomorrow)

Chris do you remember von Tom’s (SimHQ) legendary technique of tracking a plane across the monitor screen to motion-blur the background? Could look nice your planes deserve it. Run a track and pan the camera (real camera) with the plane as we do in real life, slowish shutter speed. Really dynamic images possible

The Dutch scheme is indeed a beautiful finish and if you want a Spitfire that stands out it has to be that one. BTW Kris that skin you done for me, it has the black ‘walkway forward’ lines going through the roundels. I’m pretty sure the roundels should go over the black lines, at least thats how my photos show it and thats how I have painted our Spitfire, not an issue though.
Our two seat Mk.IX is done up to represent
Spitfire Mk.TIX H99 - BS147 which when deliverd to the Dutch Airforce looked like this
If you wanted to go really crazy with a genuine Spitfire skin how about this one used by the Schneiner Aero Contracts company for use as target tugs. They had a few Spitfires IIRC both single and two seat variety, anyways the colourcsheme is all over orange with black anti dazzle panel and black civilian registration, PH-NFO, PH-NFR or PH-NFP
Sorted on updated one mate, as are the Black Walkway panels on the wing roots, forgot them on yours :o
Very nice Kristorf
And I can say behalf of 322 sqdn., we are very interested
Great screenshots, Kris! Almost as good as Phil and Insights’ huge lens work.
Cheers Joe, the planes did’nt turn out to bad concidering the limitations of IL2 and all with metal effects etc
