This looks interesting, online coop photo-reconnaissance operations (was flown yesterday)
April 21, 1918: The day Manfred von Richthofen, the (in)famous Red Baron, took off for his last sortie. This means Triplanes vs Camels for the ultimate show-down!
Mission Description:
Date: April 21, 1918
Mission Objective: Each side needs to photograph three important targets. The side that completes all three objectives first will win.
HQ requires at least 10 photographs of each target at 3000m (10,000ft). Hover with your mouse over the target icon to see a description of the target. The only plane that can make photos is the two-seater that is available on the “Photo Recon” spawn point. Only one such plane (per side) can be in the air at any time. There are more two-seaters available on the other spawn point for escort purposes. There is no particular order in which the targets should be photographed. To take the photos, make sure you are flying the photo recon and simply fly exactly over the target at the designated altitude. Subtitles will inform you if photos are taken and when you have completed your task. The photo recon needs to land safely at its base to finish the sortie.Weather: Clouds at 1000m, wind 3m/s from the west/north west.
Plane set: Fokker Dr1 (Jasta 11, 4), some Albatros DVa (jasta 34), DFW CV. Sopwith Camel (209 sqn, 65 sqn), some Se5a (84 sqn), Bristol F.2 (48 sqn).
