Sorry chaps. There is the possibility that I’ll not be able to prep and host a mission this week.
I came off my bike a few days ago and I’m pretty bashed up. No broken bones thankfully. Just fractures and lots of bruising.
I’ll see how the next few days go. If there is an improvement in mobility…ie I’m able to climb stairs, there is a chance I’ll be able to get a mission together.
I’m likely to be hosting the training DF server mission from around 9:15pm if anyone is about. I’ve never hosted in RoF before and its a mission Brigs has created for training, but at least its some RoF action.
Jojko, we can run through some of the stages and at least get you some progress along your RoF training.
No mate. The RoF campaign is usually Monday, as Brigstock is incapacitated, I’m proposing to host.
@jojko, yes 9:15 GMT is 10:15 CET. Unfortunately it’s the earliest I can get online on Mondays. The other guys will probably be online earlier if that’s any good?
Brigs, I hope you feel better mate glad its no worse, as I’m sure you know Motorcycle accidents are no joke. Now I know you are OK how is the Ol Girl(Harley)? I ride almost every day to work and I am amazed at the amount of Idiots are out there they see a Motorcycle and they do what ever they can to cut you off.
I had to sell my Harley (heart breaking) during a very lean period last year.
It was my Suzuki I was on. Superficial damage. The impact was quite light. I need to replace an indicator, clutch lever and handle bar. It has a bikini fairing, which is out of wack, I’m hoping that is just the subframe needing a little manipulation. Paintwork has a few marks nothing to ugly though.
I’ve been riding since I was 15, got caught by the Police on Tower bridge, on a Lambretta when I was 15. 2 years before you are legal in the UK. I’ve long since excepted the risks on a bike. The good far outweighs the bad. Shit happens, you just hope it doesn’t happen often. Last time I came off a bike was 1991, so the odds have not been too bad.
