It’s no OPFP1 though. Apparently the community is saying that it seems optimised for consoles and that ArmA is now the better Simulator. I have it and find that it’s not bad at all, but again, there is better.

Its actually fairly good in co-op and there are some d/l missions campaigns by a chap called TemplarGFX who has done a great job with the AI and in producing the kind of all-out-war free form scenarios that should have shipped with the game…
Co-op though is defintitely where its at if anyone wants to make up a squad…

$7.50 doesn’t sound too bad, even without TIR, but I think I’ll stick with ARMA2 nonetheless.
It’s not the simulator OFP1 was by any means and was clearly coded for the console market first.
Flying is pointless in it and the online stuff was a let down according to everyone i know that has played it (i gave in on it, fortunately i ended up with a free copy)
Arma 2 has an update coming out before too long as well I think.
