As our numbers have dwindled over the last few missions and look to stay low while the Crete SEOW runs.
I’ve decided to start a new campaign where we are all in the same Squadron.
The campaign starts mid summer 1917 and will run until Xmas.
To make things interesting and give us a goal to shoot for I’m introducing some features.
Scoring: It will essentially still be a dead is dead campaign. But there will be a total kill score. Each kill gets a point. A pilot death will result in 2 points being subtracted.
Career progression: If you achieve ace status (5 kills in one life) you will be given the oppotunity to request a favoured aircraft from the ministry as your personal mount. This will only last while your vPilot survives. On death you will revert to the Squadron standard mount. Which at this point is a Sopwith Pup.
The campaign is running from Pat Wilson’s latest build, using high density settings.
Anyone interested will need to let me know so I can add you to the Squadron roster.

First mission is tonight (21:30 UK), a patrol along the lines north of our base with a brief incursion over enemy lines.
Enemy in this region consist of Alb DIII.

He’s been executed by the war crimes assembly in the Hague. 
I would lke to join this campaign, but can’t make it on a regularly basis. Right now im on holidays and will be back next week.

Any chance of making a small caveat that once you become an Ace and get your choice plane, you can stick with that even if you die. You have to become an Ace again to change it? (This might encourage learning your new plane to Ace status).
Cant wait for this one Brigs, not sure if I will be on Thursday tho, Ill keep you updated.
Sorry mate, we’re doing it this way to make people behave in a more realistic way. Wiping the slate when dead means starting out again. If you’re an Ace with a personal mount, you’re less likely to throw it away.
Oz, you read the date from a US point of view 8/10 mean 8th Oct. Mission was last night, next one is next Monday.
