With my new pc I had to reinstall Il2 and everything and now I wanted to have also the nice markings back with the Mat-MAnager. I made everything like the last time when it worked but now it doesnt.

Mat-Manager loads the files to the il2-directory but I can’t see the new markings ingame 
I think you need to re-name one of the .exe’s to anything you want to, then direct the Mat Manager install to that one (in the main 1946 folder).
Make a copy of IL2FB.exe and rename it IL2.exe (Mat Manager looks for this)
On first run hit the “load” option in the top left hand corner, and quit
That’ll load a default set of default replacement mat files.
From then on you can go back into Mat Manager and make adjustments as you see fit.

Got it working now, was a typo in the conf.ini :o
