From one Highland to another

Hey all!

Tomorrow Saturday 29th (note the specificness) I am for the first time in my life, going to travel to a beautiful country with great, similar landscapes as Norway…and I already know them a bit even before meeting them!

Drum Rolls

…This land is Scotland!:w00t:

I am travelling to meet my older sister which is student there. I am thinking to study in Scotland as well when I am finished back in Norway.
We are going to stay in Edinburgh for the weekend and a couple of days next week. My dad was also a student in Edinburgh, in the same block as my older sister lives in now. It will be very exciting to explore what my sister and dad have.

I cannot wait really, I am looking very forward for the small amount of time I’m staying there!

Good thing you have some practice understanding the language already.

Hey Stuntman,

Sure Edinburgh is a lovely city. Too bad it’s on the other side of the country from me or we could have met :frowning:

The scenery over on the East Coast by Edinburgh is OK but to need to go further North and West to get the magnificence of the Highlands.

But there really is plenty to explore and enjoy in the ancient capital.

You could also pop down to East Fortune museum, a huge collection and it’s not to far from the old 602’s aerodrome at Drem (nothing there now).

Thanks for the tip Joe. It is indeed pity we will be far away…:frowning:

I will see if I can have a look at the flight museum.
