come li registrate?

Ciao ragazzi,

(I translated the discussion into English so sorry if I misunderstand.)

When recording in a game, whatever program you use, it will take A LOT of space. All recoridng programs works in the same way, to record & save on the fly - this method is very impractical for saving space because it must happen immediately. Thus size is huge. Stick with a program you feel is practical to set up - since all programs will take lots of space anyway.

I use purchased version of FRAPS. FRAPS has a great feature - by holding down the recording button for a few seconds, instead of going into recording mode (red numbers) it goes into standby mode (purple numbers). The standby mode constantly refreshes 30 seconds of your previous flying and once you hit the button again, it starts to record for real. Thus you don’t need to keep it on all the time, only experience something, like a surprise attack, THEN start the recording and you will ONLY have 30 seconds of the past and lots of saved space - basically you only record what you want!

One you have recorded your flying. It could be as big as 100 gigs if you fly and record a lot. If you don’t want to edit the footage, keep it 100% untouched, then I suggest you get “virtualdub” - it is a compressing software that is free. With that program you can merge all the files into a single long video, then select a compression. You can select how much quality you want, and the result is you have a single video that can be anything from 100mb to 1GB big and good for YouTube.

If you are interested in virutal dub - check out Joe’s tutorial on this program: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/311671-How-to-compress-your-movies?p=2339206&viewfull=1#post2339206

Else you can simply ask me or Joe and we can try and guide you through it if you’re interested.
