Does anyone know of an auto install for the Bf109E-1?
I downloaded version 1.2 of the Bf109E-1 but it looks like you have to manually install it…and I cant for the life of me figure out how to do it.
In the BoB server last night what I thought was AA fire actually turned out to be a 109 that was shooting at me…I found that out when I saw his kill of me confirmed…but didnt see a single aircraft near me

Open INSTALLATION.txt from the archive!
Place the mods folder from the archive in the root folder of your game.
Add lines to
air.ini found in:
GameRoot\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\air.ini
plane_ru.properties and weapons_ru.properties found in:
GameRoot\MODS\STD\i18n

Are all files that can be found in the mods folder.
Do a search of your mods folder to find each and add the text described in the Installation.txt
Oh well I added the 3 lines as described…made sure all typing and spacing was correct…saved them…then tried to launch the game…but now it wont even launch 
Did a quick restore and now game launches minus the 109E1 of course.
Thanks for your help guys but I think I’ll wait until I get someone on comms to make sure Im doing this correctly.

Cookie is this the plane you’re trying to install?

-that’s a folder in my MODS folder
I ask because I installed this Canon’s map Il-2 version (keeping a separate install for Channel) under the AAA Unified Installer and I’ve only added the Seafire II since. Maybe I can help you install that one you’re talking about if it’s another plane. I can’t immediately see an E1 at AAA so any info on the download link would be good please

I already have that folder in the MODS folder but I dont see the E1 in game…either on or offline.
I tried the editing as described but no luck,annoying as its keeping me out of the BoB server
The problem may be in the ini files yes Cookie if the plane’s installed correctly
What I was saying was that if I installed that plane I would be able to help you and others out by posting shots of the files/folders structure under Chinese picture rules. It’s really very simple to get stuff working if one has access to images of folder structures and pasted-in ini files dropped in by Good Samaritans. I would have thought. Have you called them btw or is the horse tranquiliser working

That Bf109-E_Mirror_v1_1 folder has only E4 and E7 versions in there so I’ll try again
I can’t immediately see an E1 at AAA so any info on the download link would be good please
Same page you see, very important. Like when you say “Yes I see you off my wing” and I say “No I’ve landed mate”. Ambiguity is a curse, help stamp it out you know it makes sense. Evening all from Dock Green :).
