Well after 4 1/2 years of restoration at Classic Aero Engineering and countless years spent rotting in scrap yards before we got hold of it Spitfire SM520 / G-ILDA has once again taken to the skies.
I am very pleased and proud to announce that she was aloft once more on Friday 17th October 2008 and what a sight and sound it was. 
Anyways youtube link below - not the best footage but the best I could do without a tripod, can build a spitfire but evidently cannot find my blasted tripod :roflmao:
wish i could have seen it hope it will be up again on monday and i get to see it if i can get there with you.
