i would have loved to have been there for that run

Thats what you think

Absolutely ear splitting noise let me assure you, it was as if the entire world was about to sucked through that fan at 3000rpm! the mic really does not do it any justice at all.

To put things into context when you see a spitfire doing an air display about the most power the pilot will ever use would be +6/+8lbs boost and maybe 2800RPM, to hear it doing 3000RPM and +12lbs was absolutely terrific, really felt like my ears were bleeding afterwards.

You can see in the video if you look closely that the aircraft is tied down around the rear fuselage and obviously we have chocks in but even so at one point it tried to lift up over the chocks

THX. Hearing those old engines makes me smile

Nice thanks Classic!

Poetry in (nearly) motion.

Will be great to see it in the air again (who’s the end customer mate, and will it stay in this country?

Lovely!! Sounded great on the video, must have been tremendous standing there on the spot!!

gawd, I was terrified she would nose over at that power! I was watching the tie down at the back very closely.

mhhhh
Great job you are doing there!

Very impressive, to hear and “feel” all that power. It is beautifull and frightening at the same time!

S!

And those roundels look gorgeous
