Default Good flying with you lads!!

Cheers Osprey and Insight, good flying with you in Cliffs last night. Os you picked it up far to quickly mate and good to see James get his first hour under his belt. Remember we have a campaign on Wednesday nights that you can sign up for, check out the war room for details. Osprey you would be good to go for that now, just sign up and see if we have space.

Otherwise I'll be about early Wednesday night pre mission or catch you next Monday if you are about lads.

Thanks Swoop good to be back in the air. I think I did resolve that stutter problem after you left and you missed our two kills. I got 1 Jerry, but nothing could beat Insights shooting one down whilst on the ground warming up as Jerry was strafing!

Sounds like a good night. I will get my install up to the latest TF patch soon.

Os you picked it up far to quickly mate
That's because we've been flying CoD for the last two years. I'll check the stats, but Os has quite a bit of flight time.
    Keets.

With the four of us on TS, Jimmi popped on to say "they" were doing some training and would join us soon. I had to go at 11 and it was a pleasure and rather comforting to see 8 51 pilots sitting in TS (on their own channel) and flying Cliffs with us. This sim really is maturing well and great to see so many EAF in one sim at last.

Simon, worth checking out my latest post in the Cliffs subforum, it has links to the latest patches - would be good to see you. Oz reckon he had done about 10 hours but he stuck to me like glue - a sign of a well experienced pilot or a natural. He told of his training days with you and sounded like it was the later.

James did well and might be well suited for an AA gunner

    Thanks Matt, will do.

Os is being very modest, he's 10 hours just in the last DiD campaign that I ran and we've flown way more missions than that campaign. Most of us in 92 will have more than 100 hours in.

I'll get the latest patches in and see if I can make a Monday. I don't think I can do the campaign as it's a Wednesday, but will see what I can do.
    Keets.

Haha - I was utterly hopeless

I'll have it come back to me - leaping in from pretty much zero CoD time made things tricky while learning the Spitfire and trying to get some clue of situation awareness back.

I had only bound the keys up 10 minutes before flying.

    <end excuses>

The AI 109 that was strafing me - all i could do was wriggle to face him while warming up and hosed him as he flew through my guns. Expense AA emplacement - self propelled after a while too

100 hrs? You better check my stats keets, if anything I would think it would be at the most 20 or I have a terrible memory which is possible since I am getting in my latter years. And with so many hours I think i've only got a total of 5 kills so that would confirm i'm a shite pilot.

Lol. You'd be surprised how the time mounts up and your memory must definitely be going... 5 kills total.
Last DiD campaign stats - http://codstats.eafil2stats.com/CoDstats.htm

    Checking your Steam profile....

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover - 101 hrs on record last played on 11 Nov

Granted Steam profile isn't an absolute number of hours "flown", but that's a lot of idle time if you only "20" hours stick time.
    Keets.
