    Thursday the 6th of October
I will be online just after 2030 as usual.

The Bread and Butter of Dogfight 2
We all know it! If we don't use a skill we get rusty.
The mission we went through last time was with evenly matched airplanes.
This time the scenarios will be a little bit different, thanks to Hans. In order to increase the challenge you will fly dissimilar aircraft.
The focus of our training will still be will focus on the Bracket, Double Attack, Loose Douce. To this we can add the Thach Weave (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thach_Weave)
I can recommend reading up on Stage 7 on the EAF Wiki or looking into Shaw.
I will be hosting "2vs1" and "4vs2" depending on the availability of pilots.

    Mission Type: COOP
    Game Version: Stock 4.10.1
    Aircrafts:
    • P-39D
    • P-38L
    • P-40D
    • P-47D
    • P-51D Mustang
    • A6M2
    • Ki84B
    • Fw190A8

    Hope to see you there

Sounds fine to me And I don't mind doing it a couple of times so that everyone will be able to train.

I don't understand the Thach wave (I checked the link), and I need some extra explanation on that.

Dart made a movie about it:

In essence the a/c are in a Line abreast in a combat spread.

When you guys were flying COD, I was hosting a DF in 1946 with Red. We were just fooling around 1 v1 trying new and old things.
We later flew with Nepe on spits v 109s and had some good sorties with pretty good mutual support. Nepe mentioned that he would like to do some squadron training 331 and 51 together. I thought this could be a lot of fun and also help solidify what we have been training these past weeks. But I would really like to include the guys from 602 and 92 as well, since they have been a very keen participants of our training in 331 and also they're great guys to fly with.
Hope we can get some airtime with 51 so we can see how well we have understood Starfires teachings.

    Salute.
