That will teach me to do a radio check.

I put down the slider of the microphone when playing guitar on the computer. And forgot to put it back up. I drifted out of formation when trying to resolve this. So I was in E 17 when I saw white bomber tracers. They were not the Ju-87's but the Ju-88's. I never saw any attackers.

After resolving the mic question I could hook up with red flight and followed in formation. I saw one plane going up to the heavens. That turned out to be Thor being disconnnected.

In case of the IL-2's I followed Pax on his 5. He hit the smoking IL-2 on the left side of the plane. I hit the right wing and it was going down. I got one IL-4 slightly smoking and after that Gert and an AI 110 finished the job.

A lot of confusion and flying out of formation here. But it turned out right. Sorry for the mess.

I learned to not take a F2 again. Its guns and cannons is only doing damage to the enemy's camo paint. Still had luck I made a pilot kill on one of them.

Like Arturo not a good mission for me.
We were seeying already several dots and shooting at high 12 over Targetarea. We went in to the targets which were 4 tanks and I dropped 2 of my 4 bombs. I turned around to look what I hit, when I saw 2 planes diving on me with high speed and then immediatly my engine went on flames
    No chance. Had to bail.

Me and Gert were tempted to enage some Peshka's aboef Stalingrad. But my engine got a hit from a rear gunner and it seized so I tried to glide back to friendly airfield. Doing this the engine got on fire and when I was bailing out it exploded. Got some nice medals for it though .

No problem, I will take care of it!*

Further on I will continue flying bombers, when not in dogfight at least it will be a drop day. Yesterdays flight as fighter was usual routine flight, jumping around wingman and those Junkers transporters.

Short but hectic mission for me:

Red flight got separated after a first engagement with some Yak's above Stalingrad.

I got one, I think it was Boris Shilan

After that Duke and I spotted 3 Pe-3's and we went for them. I saw Duke got shot in the engine and he had to bail.

Then the three suckers gave it all to me, got one down, but engine was pouring out smoke, so crashlanded at f8.

    Won a medal with it

    Sorry Arturo!
